Organisations of which the Governor-General has agreed to be Patron
(as at 1 October 2015)
When considering requests from groups inviting him to be Patron, the Governor-General has decided to focus on organisations that, generally speaking, have the broadest representative or national significance, and which are also servicing community needs with active and inclusive programs. It is of course important that organisations formally associated with the Governor-General have financial and governance credentials of the highest order. The Office requires patronage organisations to report annually on their achievements and financial situation.
