Unveiling the Queensland University Regiment and Squadron badges

The Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, unveiled the Queensland University Regiment and Squadron badges at the university’s St Lucia campus.

Ms Bryce said the two sandstone badges were chiseled with the values and aspirations of the university, and added they would be "cherished and enduring symbols".

The Governor-General and Mr Bryce also met old friends who had been part of the squadron and university alumni.
