10th anniversary of Australia for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees

The 10th anniversary of Australia for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees was marked by the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, at Admiralty House in Sydney.

Ms Bryce, Patron of Australia for UNHCR, congratulated the organisation on its milestone and stressed the importance of its work in assisting refugees.

Ms Bryce and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE also had the opportunity to meet former refugees who are now living in Australia.
