The support of Ni-Vanuatu women who have been subjected to domestic violence was highlighted during the Governor-General’s visit to the Vanuatu Women’s Centre in Port Vila.
A customary welcome ceremony was held for Their Excellencies, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, when they arrived at the Centre.
The visit included a tour of the facility where victim counselling takes place and a round table discussion between the Governor-General and staff from the Centre.
