The Governor-General visits the Spinal Injuries Association on their 50th anniversary

The Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, celebrated the 50 years of service by an organisation that works to better the lives of its members.
Speaking at the Spinal Injuries Association office in Woolloongabba, Queensland, Ms Bryce congratulated the organisation on its anniversary and acknowledged the member’s specialist knowledge and experience with spinal cord injuries.
Long-serving members of the organisation attended the event, including some who had been involved since its inception 50 years ago.
