The Constitution Education Fund Australia’s AusCivics 'Ride for Democracy' program

Members of the Ulysses Motorcycle Club converged on Government House and were given an important commission by the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC.
The motorcycle enthusiasts were commissioned to take a letter to mayors in every local government area across Australia by Ms Bryce, who is Patron-in-Chief of the Constitution Education Fund Australia’s AusCivics 'Ride for Democracy' program.
The letter details two initiatives, the AusCivics Spring Festivals and the Governor-General’s National Film Prize, which aim to promote civics education across Australia.
