The Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, reflected on the work done by COMCAR during a centenary of service.
The Australian Government’s car-with-driver service celebrated its 100 years with Ms Bryce launching a book about the organisation’s history, Going the Extra Mile’, at the COMCAR offices in Canberra.
Ms Bryce and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE met current and former drivers, some of which had been a part of the service since the 1940s.
