Governor-General officially opens the Senior Science and Sport Campus at Queenwood School for Girls

A new facility that will boost science and sporting pursuits for young women was officially opened by the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, at Queenwood School for Girls, at Mosman in Sydney.

Ms Bryce was taken on a tour of the school’s new Senior School Science and Sport Campus before addressing over 900 people in the new outdoor netball court.

Speaking to the students assembled in the audience, Ms Bryce told them to cherish the opportunity of learning from mistakes and making new discoveries while at school.
