National Gallery Stage One opening

A new era for the National Gallery of Australia began with the official opening of the Stage One redevelopment by the Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC.

The redevelopment features new galleries devoted to rural, remote, rgeional and urban indigenous art in bark, canvas, textiles, ceramics, bronze and aluminium.
