Governor-General meets World Harmony Running Team at Government House

After starting in Christchurch, New Zealand and travelling across Australasia, participants of the World Harmony Run arrived at Government House, Canberra.

The runners travelled down Dunrossil Drive, through the gates of Government House and met the Governor-General at the House’s State Entrance.

Ms Bryce commended the participants on their journey and for promoting international understanding and friendship. The Governor-General was then presented with an official torch and the Torch-Bearer Award by the runners.
