                 The Governor-General congratulated the riders on reaching their 700 kilometre milestone, before they left for a new challenge in Canberra, racing AIS cyclists. Over the past 10 years, the Tour de Kids has raised $3.5 million. The 2010 Tour de Kids target is to reach $500,000 for the Starlight Children's Foundation, Humpty Dumpty Foundation, Streetworx and the John Maclean Foundation.
