In Perth, the Governor-General marked Harmony Week with a number of events, including a visit to the Association for Services to Torture and Trauma Survivors Centre.

Ms Bryce met Centre members and volunteers, and discussed the work of the Centre with representatives of diverse cultures. The visit was co-ordinated by the Western Australian Office of Multicultural Interests.
