As part of Harmony Week, the Governor-General discussed Australians' evolving attitudes to multiculturalism in the Vice-Chancellor's Oration at Edith Cowan University.

Ms Bryce was welcomed to the University by the Governor of Western Australia, His Excellency Dr Kenneth Michael AC and Mrs Julie Michael, Professor Kerry Cox, Vice-Chancellor, Edith Cowan University and Ms Sasha Morgunovskaya.
