The new Minister for Defence Personnel, the Hon. Alan Griffin, and the new Minister for Defence Materiel and Science, the Hon.Greg Combet, were sworn in by the Governor-General at Admiralty House in Sydney.

The Governor-General reminded Mr Combet of their last meeting, when she urged him to improve his handwriting. He confessed that there had been no improvement.....
