The Governor-General visited the only school in the United Arab Emirates which teaches children the Queensland schools’ curriculum.

Ms Bryce visited the Australian International School in Sharjah, near Dubai, which employs Queensland teachers and maintains strong links with the Queensland Department of Education. The school teaches students from kindergarten to Year 12. Australian students were amongst children from numerous Middle Eastern, African and European countries to greet the Governor-General and show her their work.
