The Battle of the Coral Sea, 68 years ago, was commemorated by Governor-General Quentin Bryce and Mr Michael Bryce in Canberra on Thursday, May 6, 2010.

The commemorative service was held at the Australian-American Memorial. Ms Bryce said the battle was one of the most crucial battles of the Pacific War.
