Australian children’s book authors Kate Forsyth, Belinda Murrell and Deborah Abela visited Admiralty House to teach the fundamentals of storytelling to 90 students, as part of the Sydney Writers’ Festival.

The Governor-General and Mr Bryce sat in on the sessions with students from Parramatta West, Stanmore and Haberfield Public Schools.

Later, the students had an opportunity to present the stories they had developed during the day to an appreciative audience.
