The Governor-General helped celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Australian Women's Archives Project at a special event at the National Library in Canberra.

Ms Bryce discussed the value of keeping women's stories for future generations, and was followed by some personal observations on leadership and women by the British High Commissioner, the Rt.Hon. Baroness Valerie Amos, the Minister for Climate Change, Energy Efficiency and Water, Senator Penny Wong, and the Secretary of the Department of Health and Ageing, Ms Jane Halton.
