Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, recognised the contribution of the Academy of Law to Australia’s legal sector since its launch at Government House almost three years ago.

Fellows of the Academy of Law, including its President, the Hon Bob Nicholson, joined legal scholars and practitioners at Admiralty House to celebrate the Academy’s progress.

"I am delighted that the Academy is taking the lead in Australia – in collaboration with all sectors of the profession," Ms Bryce said.
