Lions Club International Convention

The Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, attended the Lions Club International Convention at the Sydney Convention Centre and spoke of the Club’s collective effort, contribution and service to the wider community.

"You are a solid and stable force of good," Ms Bryce said. "…An institution Australians have come to rely on and, perhaps unconsciously, come to expect to always be here, standing tall and strong alongside us."
