GOVERNOR-GENERAL TO SWEAR IN NEW NORFOLK ISLAND ADMINISTRATOR

The Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, will swear in the new Administrator of Norfolk Island, Mr Owen Walsh, at a ceremony at Government House, Canberra on Thursday 2 October.

The ceremony will take place at 3.45 pm and is expected to be completed by 4.30 pm.

Media wishing to attend should arrive no later than 3.30pm for the ceremony.

The names of those attending should be provided to Government House by COB, Wednesday 1 October.
