GOVERNOR-GENERAL TO MEET NELSON MANDELA AC

The Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce, will meet Africa’s statesman, Nelson Mandela, in Johannesburg on Tuesday, March 24^th.

The meeting is designed to pay tribute to Mr Mandela on behalf of the Australian people and is part of Governor-General’s visit to ten African countries to emphasise Australia’s increased engagement with Africa’s 1 billion people.

The meeting will take place at the Nelson Mandela Foundation, Houghton, Johannesburg at 1255 local time.
