The Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, will swear in the Hon. Julia Gillard MP as Prime Minister and the Hon. Wayne Swan MP as Deputy Prime Minister at Government House today at 12.30 pm.

Media representatives who wish to attend the ceremony are requested to advise Senior Communications and Media Adviser, Niree Creed, of their attendance via email at niree.creed@gg.gov.au no later than 11.30 am.

Attending media are requested to arrive at Government House no later than 12.15 pm.
