MEDIA STATEMENT: CANCELLATION OF REGIONAL VISIT TO FORBES

A regional visit to Forbes by Governor-General, Ms Quentin Bryce AC, has been cancelled due to roads being inaccessible between Parkes and Forbes, due to recent heavy rainfall.

Advice has also been provided on the current adverse conditions at Parkes Regional Airport, where the Governor-General was to arrive and depart from today.
