On Thursday, 31 January 2002, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General, Dr Peter Hollingworth, received from His Excellency Mr Willy C Gaa Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines. The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr Laureano C Santiago, Minister; Mrs Leah Basinang-Ruiz, First Secretary; and Mrs Maria Lourdes M Salcedo, Third Secretary, Embassy of the Philippines. Dr Hollingworth and Mrs Hollingworth also received Mrs Erlinda Gaa.
