Abdul Kalam; the President of the Republic of Indonesia, H E Dr Bambang Susilo Yudhoyono; The King of Malaysia, His Majesty The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Al-Marhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamalullail; the President of the Republic of Maldives, H E Mr Maumoon Abdul Gayoom; the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, H E Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga; and the King of The Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The Governor-General also met government leaders of the two countries.
