On Sunday 28 February 2010, at Admiralty House, Sydney, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as Patron, and Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, hosted a reception for Girl Guides Australia, at which the Governor-General launched the book ‘Leadership for Life: 100 Women, 100 years in Guiding’, by Ms Avril Janks. In the evening, at The Lodge, Canberra, the Governor-General and Mr Bryce attended a dinner with the Prime Minister of Australia, the Honourable Kevin Rudd MP and Ms Therese Rein.
