On Saturday 8 May 2010, in the Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC, as a guest of Mr Philip Bacon AM, visited the Philip Bacon Galleries.

Afterwards, at the Queensland Art Gallery, Southbank, the Governor-General visited the ‘Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones’ exhibition.
