Later, the Governor-General, received Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Director Space Technology, Australian Space Agency at Government House South Australia.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Enrico Palermo, Head of the Australian Space Agency attended a tour of the Australian Space Agency and Lot Fourteen.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Jan Chorley, CEO, Australia Day Council of South Australia attended Lunch at Ayers House.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Prof Mike Steer, Executive Director, visited the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) at the Aquatic Sciences Centre, West Beach.

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Damien Marangon, Chief Executive, Surf Life Saving visited the Surf Life Saving SA Headquarters. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, attended a reception for Australian Local Government Women’s Associations 20th Birthday at Government House South Australia.
