On Friday 20 September 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as guest of Mr David Horne, Chief Executive Officer, visited the Australian Lions Hearing Dogs Headquarters and Training Centre. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mayor Simone Bailey, Mid Murray Council, attended a river inspection on the PW Mayflower, followed by lunch at the Mannum Dock Discovery Centre with members of the local community. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Nick Zissopoulos, Principal, visited and met with students and staff at Mannum Community College. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Julie Duncan, Director, visited Catherine House. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Terena Pope, President, attended the South Australian Primary Schools Festival of Music.
