On Sunday 31 May 2026, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, as guests of His Highness Tuimalealiifano Va’aleto’a Sualauvi II, Head of State of the Independent State of Samoa, attended a Sunday Church Service at the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa, Matautu, Falelatai, Samoa. 

In the afternoon, Their Excellencies, as guests of His Highness Tuimalealiifano Va’aleto’a Sualauvi II, Head of State of the Independent State of Samoa, attended lunch at Samoa Beach Resort in Mulifanua, Samoa. 

Then, the Governor-General, together with His Excellency Mr Will Robinson, Australian High Commissioner in Samoa, recorded a video message at Tanoa Tusitala Hotel in Apia, Samoa. 

In the evening, Their Excellencies, as guests of Archbishop Mosese Vitolio Tui SDB, Archbishop of Apia, attended a Special Church Service for the 64th Independence Anniversary Celebration at the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa in Sogi, Samoa.
