On Thursday 17 September 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC provided a radio interview to Ms Kimmi Saker, 2EC and Power FM. 

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Councillor Mathew Hatcher, Mayor of Eurobodalla Shire Council, attended breakfast with the Batemans Bay Rotary Club at Corrigans Cove Resort, Batemans Bay. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, as guest of Councillor Mathew Hatcher, Mayor of Eurobodalla Shire Council, presided over a Citizenship Ceremony at Eurobodalla Regional Botanical Gardens, Mogo.

Later, the Governor-General, as guest of Councillor Mathew Hatcher, Mayor, Eurobodalla Shire Council, attended lunch with community leaders at The Oaks Ranch, Mossy Point. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Ms Narelle Hall, President, met with members of the Mogo Land Council, Boomerang Meeting Place and Mogo Men’s Shed, whilst undertaking a tour at the new Mogo Land Council Building, Exhibition and Primary School, Mogo.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Walter Sheehan, President, visited the Narooma Men’s and Community Shed, Narooma. 

In the evening, the Governor-General travelled from Eurobodalla Shire Council to Bega Valley Shire Council, New South Wales.
