On Sunday, 12 April 2026, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, travelled from Bendigo, Victoria to Melbourne, Victoria.

Then, the Governor-General hosted a breakfast for Victorian Australian of the Year Finalists: Mr Bryan Lipmann AM, Mr Abraham Kuol, and Ms Linda Widdup, at The Observatory, Royal Botanical Gardens Melbourne. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Paul Dipnall, President, The Rats of Tobruk Association, attended the annual Tobruk Sunday Service, at Tobruk House, Melbourne.

Then, the Governor-General travelled from Melbourne, Victoria to Canberra, Australian Capital Territory.
