On Sunday 17 May 2026, Their Excellencies the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC and Mr Simeon Becket SC, hosted a breakfast for Queensland 2026 Australians of the Year at Paddington Social in Paddington. 

Then, Their Excellencies called upon Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland, and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD at Government House, Queensland. 

In the afternoon, Their Excellencies, as guests of Ms Lisa Ward, Chief Executive Officer, Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland, visited Berlasco Court Caring Centre in Indooroopilly. 

Then, Their Excellencies travelled from Brisbane, Queensland to Sydney, New South Wales.
