Call by the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom; Gallery of Australian Design ???Design in Media' show

On Wednesday 4 August 2010, at Government House, Canberra, the Governor-General Ms Quentin Bryce AC received the High Commissioner for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Baroness Valerie Amos.

Afterwards, at the Gallery of Australian Design, Canberra, Mr Michael Bryce AM AE, as Patron, attended the ‘Design Media in Australia’ show.

In the evening, at Sydney International Airport, the Governor-General was represented at the departure from Australia of the President of the Republic of Vanuatu, His Excellency Mr Iolu Johnson Abbil, by Colonel William Monfries CSC ADC, an Honorary Aide-de-Camp.
