Then, the Governor-General was received by Ms Shelley Allen, Consul and Senior Administrative Officer, Australian Consulate-General Honolulu, during a stopover at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, Honolulu, United States of America. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General travelled from Honolulu, United States of America to Ottawa, Canada.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Her Excellency the Right Honourable Ms Louise Arbour, Governor-General of Canada, and Mr Ken MacKillop, Secretary to the Governor-General of Canada, attended a dinner at Rideau House, Ottawa, Canada.
