On Monday 22 March 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley recorded messages for the ANZAC Day address.
Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a morning tea in recognition of Harmony Week 2021 for Government House staff.
Later, the Governor-General received a call from Councillor David West, Mayor, Mid Coast Council, to discuss the impact of flooding on communities in Seal Rocks, Forster and Taree.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Ms Cheryl O'Donnell, Chief Executive Officer, attended the opening of PCYC's Community Service Programs Office.
Afterwards, the Governor-General recorded video messages for the Bravery Awards and an ANZAC Day message for the American Australian Association.
Later, the Governor-General received a call from Councillor Peta Pinson, Mayor, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, to discuss the impact of flooding in Port Macquarie and surrounding regions.
Then, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a reception for World Down Syndrome Day and the 10th anniversary of Down Syndrome Australia.
