On Friday 18 June 2021, Their Excellencies General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley recorded video messages for Playgroup Australia and Refugee Week.

Afterwards, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley, as guests of Commissioner Reece Kershaw APM, attended a graduation ceremony for the Australian Federal Police Close Personal Protection Cohort at the Edmund Barton Building.

Later, the Governor-General received His Excellency Mr Marcelino Aviles Valdespino, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama.
