Later, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted an afternoon tea for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation.

Then, the Governor-General recorded a video message for the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Thailand.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mrs Hurley hosted a dinner for Rhodes Australia-at-Large candidates.
