On Monday 13 May 2024, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) met with participants of the Australian Federal Police’s Graduate and Directions Program as they undertook a house and grounds tour of Government House.

Then, the Governor-General received a phone call from Ms Sam Mostyn AO.

In the morning, the Governor-General was represented at the state funeral of Mr Harold Mitchell AC, by Brigadier Rob Marsh PSM, Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General.
