On Wednesday 10 July 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with students and teachers from St Andrews Anglican College, Peregian Springs, Queensland, as they undertook a school tour of Government House. 

Then, the Governor-General as guest of Mr Jason Haines, Executive Officer, visited and met with volunteers and staff of St John’s Care. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General as guest of Ms Samantha Farrow, Chief Executive Officer, visited and met with participants of the 2024 Kanga Cup Youth Football Tournament. 

Later, the Governor-General met with students and teachers from Ironside College, St Lucia, Queensland, as they undertook a school tour of Government House.
