On Friday 27 September 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with students and teachers from Connells Point Primary School, Connells Point, New South Wales, as they undertook a tour of Government House. 

Then, the Governor-General participated in an interview with Ms Sarah Macdonald, ABC Radio Sydney. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General hosted a lunch for members of the Wyanga Aboriginal Aged Care Board. Guests included: Aunty Norma Ingram, Chairperson; Aunty Margret Campbell, Director; and Ms Jarin Baigent, Chief Executive Officer. 

Later, the Governor-General, as guest of Commissioner Reece Kershaw APM, attended the National Police Remembrance Day service and post-service reception.
