On Friday 13 December 2024, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC received Ms Natasha Bowness, Deputy Chair of the National Museum of Australia.  

Later, the Governor-General received Lieutenant General Natasha Fox AO CSC, Chief of Personnel, Australian Defence Force. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General as guest of Mr Jason Haines, Executive Officer, visited volunteers at St John’s Care. 

Then, the Governor-General and His Excellency Mr Simeon Beckett SC hosted an end of year event for Government House Staff.
