On Thursday 8 May 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Conspicuous Service Decorations, Meritorious Service Awards and the Australian Intelligence Medal.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Distinguished Service Decorations, Conspicuous Service Decorations and Meritorious Service Awards.

In the evening, the Governor-General, as guest of Mr Matt Anderson PSM, Director, Australian War Memorial, attended a Last Post Ceremony.
