On Friday 9 May 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Conspicuous Service Decorations and Meritorious Service Awards.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General visited and donated plasma at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Donor Centre, Garran.

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for recipients of the Investiture Ceremonies held on 8 and 9 May 2025.
