Afterwards, the Governor-General recorded video messages for Blind Citizens Australia, King’s Birthday Honours List and Broome Schools Cluster Conference.

In the afternoon, the Governor General received Ms Olivia Thorton Chief Executive Officer, Cricket ACT; Mr Luke Humphries, Senior Manager Government Affairs, Cricket Australia; and Mr Paul Singer MVO, Board Member, Cricket ACT.

Then, the Governor-General conducted a phone call with Mr Jeff Smith, General Manager, Maitland City Shire.

Afterwards, the Governor-General conducted a phone call with Mayor Gary Lee, Nambucca Valley Council.

Later, the Governor-General conducted a phone call with Mayor Kinne Ring, Kempsey Shire Council.

In the evening, the Governor-General and Mr Simeon Beckett SC, attended a reception hosted by Governor Masao Uchibori, Governor of Fukushima Prefecture of Japan.
