On Wednesday 2 July 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with students and teachers from Scaddan Primary School, Scaddan Western Australia.

Then, the Governor-General recorded video messages in the Study for NAIDOC Week, Soldier On, Outward Bound and the Canberra International Music Festival.

Afterwards, the Governor-General received Mr Gareth Williams, Consul-General for Hong Kong and Macau.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, hosted an afternoon tea for new Senators elected in the 2025 Federal Election.

Then, the Governor-General, participated in the Working with Purpose podcast for the Institute of Public Administration Australia. 

In the evening, the Governor-General, hosted dinner for the 2025 Australians of the Year.
