On Thursday 14 August 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, met with students and teachers from Budgewoi Public School at Government House.

Then, the Governor-General, as guest of Steve Stirling, Deputy Director, Questacon, attended the STEM Storytime Takeover – Space and Astronomy as part of National Science Week. 

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as guest of Steve Stirling, Deputy Director, Questacon, visited Questacon as part of National Science Week. 

Afterwards, the Governor-General, received Her Excellency Ms Jenny Grant, Ambassador to Federated States of Micronesia. 

Later, the Governor-General, conducted a phone call with Mr Barrie Cassidy, Chair, Old Parliament House Board.
