On Monday 22 September 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Conspicuous Service Decorations and Meritorious Service Awards.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General met with Cadets and Instructors of 429 Squadron Fort Queenscliff, and 420 Squadron Benalla Wangaratta, Australian Air Force Cadets, as they undertook a tour of Government House. 

Then, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Distinguished Service Decorations, Conspicuous Service Decorations and Meritorious Service Awards.
