On Tuesday 23 September 2025, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, hosted an Investiture Ceremony for Order of Australia Honours, Conspicuous Service Decorations and Meritorious Service Awards.

In the afternoon, the Governor-General, as Chancellor of the Order of Australia, invested Emeritus Professor Anthony Johns AM as a Member of the Order of Australia. 

In the evening, the Governor-General hosted a reception for recipients of the Investiture Ceremonies held on 22 and 23 September 2025.
